Green Team Summit Watch Party Sept. 11

Join us to hear Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, explore her most recent book, “Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World” at a watch party Sunday after noon, September 11 in the SJU Fellowship hall. Doors open at 2:30 PM and the talk begins at 3:00 PM. This talk is the keynote for the 2022 Green Team Summit: Rooted Together, sponsored by Faith in Place  and Interfaith Power and Light. SJU is hosting the watch part with Earth Ministry, the Washington Interfaith Power and Light affiliate.

Dr. Hayhoe was named Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People and her TED talk, “The most important thing you can do to fight climate change: talk about it” has nearly 4 million views.
