All are welcome at the CoCreate Project’s upcoming Summer Barbecue Potluck. Join us on Friday, July 25 between 6-9pm for an evening of good food, good company, and good fun – all with a view!
CoCreate will provide hamburgers and veggie burgers with a full slate of fixins. You can bring a side dish or dessert if you’d like, or just come as you are. We’ll have cold sparkling water and lemonade, and ask that you do not bring any alcoholic drinks. If you prefer your own camp chair over a folding chair you can bring that along.
We’re getting together just to be in community and get to know one another a bit more. There will be yard games set up, including a brand new corn hole set made by a community member! Or you can always just enjoy the sunset view out over the Olympics (fingers crossed that the weather cooperates!).
RSVPs are not required but it’s helpful if you send a note to cocreate@stjohnunited.org if you plan to attend, that’ll help us out with grocery shopping. Also, we could use a few volunteers for set up, clean up, and grilling so add that to your RSVP if you can pitch in!
This gathering is one of the community-wide potlucks that we’re starting to add to CoCreate’s menu of programs. Our plan is to host these approximately once every 3-4 months. This is in addition to ongoing Open Space drop in gatherings every other week – next up is Craft Night on Thurs, July 31.
