SJU has hosted an annual cider pressing party with the larger community for the last decade! This year, this fan favorite event is shifting to be under the umbrella of the CoCreate Project.
We hope you’ll join for this free and fun apple pressing party on the front patio between 2-4pm on Saturday, Sept 6. You can hop in to help with chopping apples, turning cranks, and of course tasting fresh apple juice. It’s family friendly, kids and grownups both have a blast!
You can bring apples if you have them but don’t let that stop you if not. We’ve been stashing away apples from the SJU trees and usually plenty more show up. Do bring a juice container to take some cider home with you.
By moving this event over to CoCreate, we’re hoping to bring in some extra people power. Please email cocreate@stjohnunited.org if you are able to volunteer with set up or clean up.
