We mark the seasons of the year with a series of celebrations.

In early January we may celebrate Epiphany with a treasure hunt for the baby Jesus.

In February we might celebrate Fast Nacht (Mardi Gras) with pancakes.

On Easter Sunday we share a delicious breakfast before worship and have an egg hunt for children after the service.

The last Sunday of April we celebrate Earth Sunday and process from the sanctuary to our garden for a rite of blessing.

In June, we picnic at the 59th Street Park and wrap our high school graduates in quilts made for them by members of the congregation.

In July or August, we play and swim at Mounger Pool in Magnolia.

The first weekend of August we camp-out at Millersylvania State Park.

September is Cider-pressing on the front patio – with people from the community bringing fruit and jugs.

October is St. Francis Day and Blessing of Pets; then pumpkin-carving for kids and families.

November is our annual spaghetti dinner and dessert auction, a lot of fun as well as a fundraiser.

December we get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
